We are thrilled to announce that the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine (CCAIM) has successfully completed its initial stage, as evidenced by the positive outcomes highlighted in the recent ISAB report.
Building on this success, we are excited to enter the next phase of CCAIM, where we aim to expand our reach and engage with a wider community interested in AI for Medicine.
We warmly invite all individuals and groups within Cambridge who share our passion for AI in the healthcare domain to join us. Whether you have expertise in AI algorithms, clinical research, healthcare systems, or any related field, we welcome your expressions of interest and involvement. To express your interest and outline your involvement, please reach out to our Centre Coordinator, Miha Anca (ccaim@damtp.cam.ac.uk). We will regularly review the expressions of interest and accept new members who align with our mission and goals.
Throughout the year, CCAIM has planned a range of activities, including Seminar Series, Summer school, AI Clinic, workshops, and collaborative projects, to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among members. From 11 to 15 September 2023, CCAIM invites you to the second instalment of the world’s first Online Summer School exclusively focused on AI and Machine Learning for Healthcare bringing together Students, Researchers, Clinicians, and Industry Experts.
As a first step, we will be organizing a meeting on November 15th, 2023, specifically designed for new members and everyone involved in CCAIM.
We believe that by coming together, sharing our expertise, and leveraging the power of AI, we can make significant advancements in healthcare and contribute to improving patient outcomes. We look forward to welcoming you into the vibrant CCAIM community and working together towards our shared vision.
Best regards,
Mihaela van der Schaar and Andres Floto
