The Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine (CCAIM) is focused on developing pioneering AI and machine learning (ML) technologies to transform biomedical science, medicine and healthcare and creating a campus wide ecosystem of collaborations across the University of Cambridge, the Wellcome Sanger Institute, and the European Bioinformatics Institute.
We are currently searching for two main types of collaborators:
- Quantitative researchers that are developing cutting-edge ML and AI methods for biomedicine and healthcare
- Biomedical researchers and clinicians with impactful datasets and challenging problems that might be solved using ML.
We are hosting an Ideas Incubator event on 24 May, 13:00 – 17:00. Potential collaborators will have the opportunity to pitch their research collaboration ideas to the CCAIM members.
We are inviting potential collaborators to submit written abstracts to Amy Dolben ahead of the event and by no later than 12 May:
- Quantitative researchers should outlined their proposed research and its potential utility for biomedicine.
- Biomedical researchers and clinicians should outline the biomedical and healthcare challenge which could be resolved using ML and AI methods.
We will be in touch shortly after the deadline to invite selected applicants to attend the Ideas Incubator.
We very much look forward to hearing from you!
