Mihaela van der Schaar at ICML 2020

12 July 2020 by Sean O'Neill

ICML conference

The lab led by the Director of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine, Professor Mihaela van der Schaar, has had 7 papers accepted for ICML 2020, which kicks off this week.

Professor van der Schaar is a listed author on all papers, which puts her among the top 10 authors at ICML this year (and makes her the top female author, as well as number 1 in UK and Europe).

This also gives the van der Schaar lab more ICML papers than any other academic lab in the UK and Europe. This achievement also shows the breadth and depth of the lab’s work, as these accepted papers are pushing the boundaries of topics ranging from uncertainty estimation to adaptive clinical trials.

Professor van der Schaar is also giving a tutorial at ICML, in addition to two keynote presentations at workshops. Visit the virtual ICML 2020.
